For this year’s graduation ceremony we are reminded of our innate and external tendencies against disciple-making. Pastor Selwyn charges our graduates to avoid these 7 tendencies.

1. the tendency to choose comfort over concern

2. the tendency to choose avoidance over accountability

3. the tendency to choose self preservation over self sacrifice

4. the tendency to say no without considering God’s Yes

5. the tendency to avoid asking questions because it draws attention to your lack of knowledge

6. the tendency to choose silence over speaking the powerful truth

7. the tendency to choose laziness and lateness over preparedness
