Build it in the Mountains

Our previous week’s message encouraged us to seek out an experience with God that leads us to mountainous experiences with God; away from distractions, the mundane and from competing voices. The two testators of the Old and New Covenant, Moses and Jesus, were known to retreat into the mountains to pray and spend time with the Father. There their communion Father was undisturbed and clear.

This week’s message reminds us that our pursuit of God’s will requires that we put His desires above our own comforts. It means being willing to establish that private place of communion with God in an elevated place of commitment and relationship with Him—the Mountains.
